Food that Spike's blood sugar



Making a healthy meal is a choice , meaning eating the right food to manage our diabetes and also avoiding a certain food for a better control of the blood sugar. For example there is a possibility of making a healthy meal of your choice to avoid making wrong meal if not it can Spike the blood sugar , for example carbohydrate and  soda breaks down in the body which turns sugar and enters the blood  stream also, even if some people don’t have diabetes these foods can also leads to insulin resistance which means the body cells don’t respond normally to the insulin produce by the pancreas.

Here are some foods you can avoid for better blood sugar control:



1. Sweet drinks and soda: to enable the blood sugar to be in a normal range we need to avoid much intake of sweet drinks and soda because there is a risk of about 27 percent for developing diabetes than those who takes less of sweet drinks and soda in a month and also replacing much intake of sweet drinks and soda with water can help with weight loss too.




2. White bread: too much intake of product made with refined flour such as white bread and it’s quick digestion can also cause the blood sugar to rise.



3. Red meat: this does not mean we should cut red meat from our diet completely, but eating a lot of red meat and processed meat such as canned meat, jerky, bacon, harm .all high saturated fat can contribute or double the risk of diabetes. We can easily lower the risk by substituting one serving of red or processed meat with healthier source of protein such as low fat diary product and nuts.



4. Fast foods : most fast foods has high fat such as salt and calories and can increase the risk of diabetes, reduce the chances of weight loss success and sends blood sugar above usual level.




Too much fatty food Spike’s the blood sugar level by 35 percent in healthy people who do not have diabetes , and also salty fast foods can increase the blood pressure and are dangerous for people with diabetes.
